As the festival season is upon us we’ve been keeping busy bringing a taste of Island Life to friends old and new.
Our summer highlights have included a trip to the South Uist and Benbecula Agricultural Show. We took some of our brand new framed prints along with us - which we're loving a lot. Our island stand has been battered by the wind at some recent events, but at this show we had no need for shelter as the sun was shining.
Sadly we didn’t have the sun gods shining for the South Uist Games which were sadly called off due to a downpour of the rain kind. Never mind - next year we’ll be there with some more welcome Downpour Gin and hopefully we’ll have some sun.
We also enjoyed a trip to EDF music festival on Benbecula, which was especially good since instead of serving up gin to folk we were off duty so got to indulge a bit ourselves.
A big thanks to all the amazing people we’ve met this summer season while out and about. We’ve been bowled over by the amazing comments about Downpour Gin and all the love has helped power us through the early mornings and late nights as we look to fulfil the hundreds of orders that keep pouring in every week.
