We’ve been out and about across Uist gathering fresh heather for use in Downpour Gin. The heather is out in full bloom across the island creating some beautiful sights indeed. 

At this time of year we need to strike while the weather is good, luckily for us we had some able helpers. Following a call out on Facebook we had a great time meeting some new friends who pulled together to help us pick a great selection of heather.
