Join us at Nunton Steadings Visitor Centre, home to North Uist Distillery, to learn about our historic distillery home, our production processes, our whisky journey and island life.
Our distillers will lead you on a tour through our production hall and historic stables warehouse for a sample of our new make and our 1 year old aged spirit, then through to our tasting room for a guided tasting of our upcoming Guest House series.
- A sample of our new make spirit, a sample of our 1 year old aged spirit, and 3 sneak peek drams of our upcoming Guest House series.
- This tour is limited to visitors aged 18+.
- Please note that we require a minimum of four people to run a tour. If we don't meet this minimum, we may get in touch to rearrange or organise an informal sampling at the bar.
- Please note we are not always in production over the weekends.
- We have a grated floor in the Distillery and a cobbled floor in Warehouse 1, please ensure you wear suitable footwear.
- A full refund will be given for cancellations made 24 hours prior to the tour. No refunds will be available after this. Please ensure you call or e-mail us to arrange a cancellation.
- The building is fully accesible, however access to the production hall via mezanine deck is unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility, so an alternative route on the lower level can be used. Please contact us in advance to ensure we can arrange for you.
- Unfortunately, due to food standard regulations, we are unable to accept dogs on our tours and tastings. If you require an assistance dog please get in touch.
- You will receive £5 off any one 70cl bottle of Guest House or Downpour purchased on the day of your tasting.
