Island Inspired. Hats, Earrings and Gin & Tonic Cake.

As a company passionate about creativity, it’s been amazing to see people inspired to create beautiful things inspired by our gin, and even a few things using it.

The wonderful Kirsty at Kirkbost Craft Hub on North Uist treated us to a very pleasant surprise when she showed us this beautiful knitted hat - complete with a pattern inspired by our Downpour Gin packaging.

"I thought I would design you a fair isle hat based on your logo if that is ok, since knitting and gin go so well together!"

We couldn't agree more Kirsty, and think it’s the ideal look for an island winter and will definitely put it to good use. We also hear that a pair of mittens are being knitted too and can't wait to see them. The original hat was sold before Kirsty managed to finish it and she is now taking orders if anyone fancies their own. You can contact Kirsty and find out more right here

Also inspired by our bright bold design, our amazing customer Deborah MacVicar who runs Designs on Benbecula sent us a set of earrings and necklace based on the Downpour rain pattern.

A very welcome addition to the distillery inspiring us to keep up the early mornings and late nights as the orders come pouring in.

We craft our small batch gin with a focus on big bold flavours that you can taste in every drop. So what could be a better accompaniment to a perfect serve than some very tasty Downpour Gin & Tonic cake! Baked by our island friends at Claddach Kirkibost Cafe.

Inspired by this, our new friend Kate Stockwell from Barrhead in Scotland created this beautiful Gin & Rosemary cake creation.

We always love hearing from people, so if you want to get in touch then it would be great to hear from you - especially if you have any cake, hats or other wonderful things for us.
