Island Filming. On Screen.

As some of our regular readers might remember, there's been a fair bit of filming going on recently and a few occurrences of North Uist and surrounding areas appearing on TV & Cinema Screens.

The last few weeks have been no different with more screen based goings on. At the distillery, we've been busy filming for some exciting new things.

We've also been helping out some other island friends with their filming projects, by keeping everyone fully topped up with Downpour Negroni while on location.

And, last but not least, a very special edition of the BBC's amazing Gone Fishing series with Bob Mortimer & Paul Whitehouse was beamed onto our screens last Sunday.

Described by Bob as the best episode they have done - the show is set entirely on the island of North Uist and perfectly showcases some of the beautiful natural scenery that we feel lucky to be surrounded by every day. The show is an excellent meditation on friendship, with a little fishing thrown in for good measure, and if you didn't manage to catch it live it's now available to watch on BBC iPlayer - so get watching then get planning your own trip to our island home. We'd love to welcome you sometime soon.
